Value Adjustment Board (VAB)

If you have already spoken with someone in the Property Appraiser’s office and still believe your market value to be excessive, you have the right to petition the County Value Adjustment Board (VAB) for a hearing before a special master. Petition forms are available on the web at www.nassauclerk.com, at the Clerk of Courts office, and at the Property Appraiser’s Office. The petition must be filed with the Clerk of Court at the Nassau County Judicial Annex, 76347 Veterans Way, Yulee, Florida or the Historic Court House, 416 Centre Street, Fernandina Beach, Florida. Please note that a non-refundable filing fee may be applicable.
